Growth Group. No meeting this week. Jo (Robinson) is still very unwell, and we’re not going to be available Wednesday evening either. In the meantime, Nehemiah 3 is still pending – hopefully next week (23rd)
Enneagram workshop on Friday (18th). This is useful tool for personality profile and development. You’ll learn a lot! More info in flyer at back of Church. £10 cost is to cover speakers’ travel expenses in first instance.
Explore Bible study notes. The ones I bought last week have now gone, so in faith I’ve got some more! April-June notes at the back of Church for you to look at or buy (£3). The idea is that those of us who are using this system will meet once a month (on a Wednesday) to encourage each other, compare notes, and do a more in-depth Bible study together.
Elections. This is the time of year for elections to DCC, PCC & Deanery Synod. Please consider whether you should be standing. If so, you will need a proposer and seconder. NB. You can only stand for PCC and Deanery Synod if you are a DCC member.
APCM. The annual parish meeting this year will be at St Columba next Sunday, and will start with a ‘bring and share’ meal from 6.30 p.m. Steve will be doing a power-point presentation this year of the Project (assisted by Jason). Do join us.
Church clean. Sharon is going to co-ordinate cleaning the Church in future, but still (rightly) expects us to tidy up as we go along. The last Saturday in the month will be Church cleaning day from 9.30 – 12.30 p.m., starting April 26th. The more we are, and the harder we work, the sooner we finish!
Sport Relief. Nick & Bethany, having completed running/walking their 6 miles, would be happy to receive your sponsorship money to go to Sport Relief. All money raised will go to good causes in the Third world. More info on www.sportrelief.com
½ night of prayer. We’ll be meeting with St Aidan’s folk at their Church for our next prayer meeting, which will be on May 9th, just before Pentecost. Same time (8-11).
York Diocesan News. We’re in the news again – this time in the May edition of York Diocesan News. Copy at the back of Church, but if you want to see the colour version, here’s the link:

Next Sunday there’s a service of Holy Communion at 10.30 am.
